Subject: Bring back Lay-Flat Binding!
Date: February 10, 2006 10:33:45 AM EST
Hello,
As a long-time O’Reilly & Associates reader, I have appreciated the
Lay-Flat binding that was present on many of your Nutshell books. But
none of the books I see these days have it!
For example, I just received the new editions of “Java Examples In a
Nutshell”, “Java Enterprise In a Nutshell”, and “Java In a Nutshell”.
All of these are valuable references, but each of them requires at
least one hand to keep it open because of the binding.
I know that these are thick books. But isn’t there *something* you
could do to help the books stay open on the desk? Surely with all of
the innovation in California, there’s a way to hold open the 1200-
page Java In a Nutshell. Hardback or editions maybe? I’d buy it.
